Acme Glass and Mirror has four convenient locations for in-shop service. With all in-shop windshield installation, Acme Glass and Mirror performs a Louisiana state inspection at no additional charge.

Acme Glass and Mirror adheres to guidelines set forth by Federal Law, and vehicle and adhesive manufacturers to assure a safe installation.

All Acme Glass and Mirror technicians undergo extensive ongoing training for safe installation techniques and are certified by the National Glass Association and SIKA Corporation.

Windshield Repair or Replacement

The repair process is possible when only the outer layer of the laminated safety glass is damaged and the chip is smaller than a quarter. If the damage appears in the “acute area” or driver’s line of vision, the windshield will need to be replaced.

With most insurance companies, the deductible will be waived for a repair, which means no out-of-pocket cost for you. Please contact your Insurance company for verification of your policy.

The time required to repair a small chip or ding (without replacing the entire windshield) generally takes 30 minutes.

Replacement of your windshield, generally takes 1-1/2 to 2 hours, depending on the make and model of your vehicle.

Mobile Service

At Acme Glass and Mirror we understand your time is valuable. That is why we provide Mobile Service. Our highly trained professional technicians will come to you whether it be at home or work to repair or install your glass replacement on-site. If you prefer an in-shop service, Acme Glass and Mirror can provide you with free pick-up and delivery of your vehicle. If it is more convenient for you to drop your vehicle off at any of our locations, we will be glad to arrange a ride to work.
